Recently, the “Karnival Pemerkasaan Komuniti” under the Rural Empowerment and Community Help (REaCH) programme was held in Kampung Pulau Manis, Serada, Kuala Terengganu and was attended by 600 people from the surrounding areas.

Early in the morning, Puan Ainol Shaharina Sahar, Director of Yayasan TM attended the launch of the community garden and recycling center, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ayub Md. Som, Dean (Industry, Community And Alumni Network) College of Engineering, UiTM and Haji Maliki Harun, General Manager of TM Terengganu. In the same ceremony, 10 participants from the previous entrepreneurship training received a fund for their business development and equipment purchases.

The carnival continues with various activities throughout the day such as plogging run, environmental talk, health check, education and career counselling sessions, mini sports, traditional sports and food truck sales activities.
