Yayasan TM (YTM) continues its community empowerment initiatives in disaster preparedness by hosting the Latihan Kesiapsiagaan Bencana Train-The-Trainers Dalam Kalangan Komuniti Kelantan 2024. This programme brought together 110 students and 43 teachers from SK Gual Periok and SMK Gual Periok in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan.

In collaboration with the Pertubuhan Gabungan Bantuan Bencana NGO (BBNGO), this programme aims to provide early exposure to disaster response skills for students in flood-prone areas. The participants received training on emergency preparedness and safety from Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Kubang Kerian and took part in arm sling training and CPR courses.

We hope the participants will be able to apply the knowledge they've gained in real-life situations, ultimately helping to reduce the risk of loss of life and property damage.
