Before joining the Kelulutpreneur Incubator Project, a social impact initiative by Yayasan TM in collaboration with UiTM Melaka, Izamuddin Hassan had never thought about venturing into stingless bee farming. However, this programme opened up an opportunity for him to learn a new skill that could change his family’s future.

Through this programme, he not only gained technical knowledge but was also exposed in depth to the world of stingless bee farming. Although he had no prior experience, he was determined to learn — and day by day, he became more skilled in managing the kelulut farm, caring for the bee colonies, and harvesting honey using the correct techniques.

With the knowledge he has gained, he is now able to manage his farm more effectively. Although honey production depends on the weather, he has become more efficient in planning and managing the farm to achieve maximum yield.

Now, he is even more motivated to expand his stingless bee farming project and hopes to involve more members of the local community so they too can enjoy the same benefits. Although the journey ahead is still long, his spirit and confidence prove that success can be achieved through determination and continuous support.
