Thaniges: Leading with Vision and Empowering Change at MMU
23rd May 2024

Thaniges is currently in his second semester of Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electronics, majoring in Telecommunications, at the Faculty of Engineering. Proud to be a YTM Future Leaders scholar, he is the youngest President of the Students' Representative Council in Multimedia University, at the age of 19!
This opportunity to lead has been both an honour and a leadership commitment for him to foster positive changes within the MMU community and enhance the student experience. He said this journey is also inspired by other remarkable YTM scholar leaders such as Jamila Syuhada, Neha Burbinder, Lim Min Ying, and Zafirah, whose dedication and leadership have set a high standard for excellence. Their trailblazing efforts have paved the way for positive change, motivating him to emulate their commitment and impact.
"I hold onto the motto 'Your Voice, Our Vision', embodying the belief that we, as students, have the power to shape our collective future. Leading with the principles of EMPOWER, ENGAGE, and EXCEL, I am dedicated to ensuring that every student's voice is not only heard but also becomes an integral part of our shared vision for a better university experience."
Well done Thaniges! Keep up the commitment to fostering an environment where every student feels empowered to contribute their ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and excel in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.
