SMK Dengkil (SMKD), Selangor has been selected as the first TM Future Skills Champion School (TMFS School) in the Central Zone, and the second in the country. This initiative is the evolution of our TM School Adoption Programme started in 2003, aims to nurture future digital leaders at the high school level.

YTM in collaboration with strategic and implementing partners, Creative Minds provides technology and digital equipment at TMFS Hub SMKD such as Pocketlab, robotic sets, computer 3D printers, smart TVs and digital learning kits to inculcate students' interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics subjects (STEM).

With the highest percentage of B40 students in its area, and in addition of having Orang Asli/Pribumi student population, SMKD meets the target group and our aspiration for more inclusive access to education. The school also offers Perantisan Industri Menengah Atas (PIMA) programmes and Program Pendidikan Khas such as aesthetics, tailoring, culinary and modern agriculture that have potential for the implementation of TMFS modules.

The launching ceremony of SMKD's TMFS Digital Hub has taken place recently with hands-on demonstration and art performances by the students. We are confident with the school's commitment in making this initiative a success, as well as fostering the development of teachers and students for the transformation and integrating digital technology into education.
