TM Future Skills Empowers Educators and Inspires STEM Innovation for Malaysia's Youth

09th Nov 2024

Education

We made enhancements to the three main components of TM Future Skill (TMFS). TMFS Certification commenced in September 2024 with 500 teachers from five states receiving their certification in digital skills and technology. We aim to reach a total of 1,000 certified teachers by November by expanding our efforts to five additional states.

In parallel, we are planning to upgrade our Digital Hub equipment at three TMFS Champion Schools which includes providing financial assistance for students to participate in various innovation competitions. Since its establishment in 2023, the digital lab has also benefited surrounding schools, with a focus on integrating technology in education.

Recently, the TMFS 2024 Launching Ceremony was graced by Mr Zainal Abas, Deputy Director General, School Operations Sector, Ministry of Education, took place at Sektor Sumber & Teknologi Pendidikan, Cheras. TMFS 2024 will culminate at the end of the year with TMFS Tech Titans Challenge, an innovation talent competition that will see greater school participation than in the previous year.

As an organization committed to shaping the country's education landscape towards Digital Malaysia, TMFS is our continuous commitment to encourage students to pursue interest in STEM, nurturing them as future drivers of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0).
