24th Apr 2025

Community & Nation Building

Yayasan TM, in collaboration with I-REACH Malaysia, successfully carried out the Jalinan Kasih Programme—a three-day, two-night outreach initiative—at Pos Kuala Mu in Sungai Siput, Perak, aimed at engaging and supporting the Temiar Orang Asli community.

The programme featured a range of meaningful activities, including free health screenings and talks, religious education classes, traditional games (sukaneka), and a disaster preparedness briefing conducted by the Civil Defence Force (APM) Kuala Kangsar.

As part of the support efforts, YTM distributed 107 food boxes, 250 hygiene kits with bottled water, and 150 stationery sets for local students. Additionally, two families affected by a recent fire received financial assistance. The initiative reflects YTM’s continued dedication to uplifting underserved communities through direct engagement and meaningful collaboration.
