Nurul Umairah, our Future Leaders scholar, is currently in her second year pursuing Bachelor of Social Sciences & Humanities at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

She recently returned from Seoul, South Korea, where she was selected to participate in the Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) conference, organized by the International Global Network. AWMUN provides a platform for young leaders to broaden their networks and exchange views on global political and economic issues through various council simulations. It also offers a space for them to sharpen their leadership, negotiation, and diplomacy skills.

Beyond the books, Umairah also serves as the Secretary-General of the UKM Student Union (KMUKM). In this role, she plays a key part in policy development, organizing student welfare programs, and fostering strategic collaboration among student clubs and associations, all in the pursuit of empowering student voices and rights on campus.
