Warung TERANG: YTM Supports Digital Art Experiences in the Heart of Kuala Lumpur
30th Jun 2026
YTM continues to champion the growth of digital arts and creative innovation through Warung TERANG, a projection mapping initiative that transformed Kuala Lumpur's city centre into an immersive nighttime creative experience.
Held from 8 to 17 May 2026, the programme showcased six interactive visual art installations across Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, Jalan Sang Guna, Muzium Telekom, and River of Life. Developed by Filamen with the support of Yayasan TM, alongside Digital Tech Incubator, Humblezing, and RUBIX, Warung TERANG combined light, sound, and creative storytelling to bring digital art closer to the public through engaging urban spaces.
Through this initiative, YTM reaffirms its commitment to nurturing local creative talent while expanding public access to digital arts and creative technologies. The programme also fostered collaboration among artists, creative practitioners, and the community through a range of activities, including projection mapping workshops and interactive performances.
As part of KL Fest 2026, Warung TERANG reflects YTM's continued commitment to supporting an inclusive, innovative, and impactful digital creative ecosystem that inspires communities and celebrates local creativity.
