Atira Earns National Recognition for Business Innovation

Nur Atira, our Future Leaders Scholar is currently in her final year pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship at Universiti Utara Malaysia, consistently achieving the Dean’s List Award.


Beyond academic excellence, Atira is gaining valuable entrepreneurial skills as the Strategic Marketing Lead in the PUNB x SBM Social Uni Challenge, where her team won Best Young Consultant and Best Mentor awards. In the 2024 Malaysian Analytic Business Challenge, she earned a Silver Medal for her team’s innovative use of CRM strategies to solve ShopLink’s customer retention issue, showcasing her expertise in customer relationship management and data analysis.


Atira also participated in the Service Learning Malaysia-University for Society (SULAM) program, where she pitched a heat protectant cap for pineapples to the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (LPNM). The proposal aimed to protect pineapples from heat damage during Malaysia’s hot season, ultimately improving crop quality and yield. This initiative, inspired by a local woman pineapple entrepreneur, demonstrated Atira’s ability to combine business strategy with research and development (R&D).
