Diaspora Malaysia 2026: Strengthening National Identity and Patriotism Among YTM Scholars

02nd Nov 2026

Education

Four YTM scholars under the MMU-France Programme participated in the 2026 MADANI Nationality Course (Malaysian Diaspora), held at the National Civics Training Centre (PLK) in Tanjung Rhu, Negeri Sembilan.

The programme aims to foster patriotism, strengthen national identity and develop leadership among students preparing to pursue their studies abroad. Through various civic and character-building activities, participants also gained a deeper understanding of their role as ambassadors of Malaysia on the international stage.

Their participation is expected to better prepare these scholars to represent Malaysia’s identity, values and aspirations as they embark on their overseas academic journeys.
