Yayasan TM (YTM) remains committed to supporting the development and well-being of the Orang Asli community through the Juara Komuniti Project, in collaboration with EPIC Society. This initiative, under the YTM Social Impact Grant, aims to nurture a group of community leaders from among the Orang Asli in five villages across Selangor.

As a starting point, training workshops were conducted in Kampung Sungai Kelubi and Kampung Hulu Kuang to provide participants with foundational exposure to essential skills such as community asset mapping, project management, leadership and teamwork, as well as basic fundraising and reporting.

The participants have identified potential social impact projects to be implemented in their respective villages, designed to address the unique needs of their communities. They will continue to be guided to ensure that these projects are successfully carried out and achieve their intended goals.

With continued commitment and strategic collaboration, YTM believes that every community holds the potential to drive positive change from within beginning with resilient and visionary grassroots leaders.
