Khairul Danial Shines with Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Award & 4A Predicted A-Levels

Congratulations to our scholar, Khairul Danial, on earning the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Award (DofE)! Throughout his studies at Kolej Yayasan UEM, Khairul actively participated in co-curricular activities, most notably completing all three components of the DofE Award - Volunteering Services, Physical Recreation & Adventurous Journey, and Skills.
He dedicated over 30 hours to volunteering services, supporting initiatives such as health screenings with the National Cancer Society Malaysia and assisting individuals with disabilities. For the recreation challenge, Khairul took on a 3 days 2 nights trek through jungle terrain, navigating unfamiliar landscapes including exploring a historic cave and water rafting.
In the skills section, Khairul completed over 30 hours ICDL (International Certificate of Digital Literacy) modules, our scholarship’s development program. From mastering digital productivity tools to honing teamwork through collaborative platforms, he gained essential tech skills to thrive in the modern workforce.
Khairul recently completed his A-Levels with predicted grades of 4A, preparing to pursue Bachelor of Computer Science at University College London (UCL). His dedication, empathy, and determination exemplify our vision of nurturing future leaders aspire to drive Malaysia digital through innovation and social impact.
