In an effort to preserve Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, Yayasan TM has embarked on a mission to revive the traditional Lipur Lara stories and the historic Jawi script. Collaborating with Hamsa Media for Lipur Lara and Akademi Jawi Malaysia (AJM)  for digital contents and online platform, the initiatives began with the extensive research and digitization of ancient manuscripts. These treasured narratives then, will be transformed into a digital library accessible to all. 

Complementing this, the AJM organized online workshops and digital contests aimed at schools, encouraging students to creatively engage with these cultural elements. The interactive workshops taught participants the intricacies of Jawi, while the contests motivated them to produce original content in Jawi, thereby fostering a new generation of cultural enthusiasts. The Lipur Lara research team, Hamsa Media has also organized a series of workshops with experts from universities and the creative industries to delve deeper into the characteristics of each folklore.

Through these efforts, Yayasan TM successfully blended tradition with technology, ensuring that the enchanting world of Lipur Lara and the beautiful Jawi script continued to thrive in the digital age. The initiative not only preserved these cultural treasures but also inspired young Malaysians to appreciate and carry forward their heritage. By creating an engaging, accessible, and educational platform, Yayasan TM set a shining example of how modern tools can sustain and celebrate traditional culture.
