Education

YTM in collaboration with the Centre for STEM Foundation Studies, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), continues to expand access to inclusive digital education through the Robocode A.I. project in Kelantan and Penang.

This initiative provides teachers and students with special educational needs the opportunity to explore the world of coding and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), while building their confidence and unlocking their potential in technology.

The programme in Kelantan and Penang involved 80 students with special educational needs and 32 teachers from 16 special education schools and Integrated Special Education Programmes (PPKI). Participants included students with autism, learning disabilities and hearing impairments.

Through a combination of theoretical and hands-on learning, the Robocode A.I. project develops coding skills and creativity among students with special educational needs, while equipping teachers to sustain STEM and digital learning in their respective schools.

This approach supports the long-term sustainability of the programme and reinforces YTM’s commitment to expanding access to inclusive digital education and unlocking the potential of every student.
