02nd Nov 2026

Education

Students of SMKA (P) AlMashoor, Penang, showcased their learning outcomes under the TM Future Skills (TMFS)programme through project presentations to YB Senator Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, Minister of Finance II, during his recent visit to the school. He was also briefed on the progress of TMFS implementation at the school and other TM adopted schools.

Four projects were presented: Smart Heat Monitoring System, Penang Traffic & Road Vibration Analysis System, AI Tank Monitoring System and Semashoor SOS App.

Leveraging Arduino, Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) and application development, these projects explore practical solutions for temperature monitoring, traffic and road vibration analysis, water tank management and student issue reporting. Through hands-on learning, students gained valuable experience in developing practical solutions and building confidence in presenting their ideas.

YB Senator also visited the TMFS ecosystem exhibition, which highlighted the initiatives led by YTM and its implementation partners, MySTEM and CNERGY, in supporting students' and teachers' learning journeys.

Under the MADANI Adopted School Programme, YTM provides TMFS training for students and teachers, alongside STEM learning kits across 35 adopted schools.
