02nd Nov 2026
A total of 60 students and 15 teachers from SMK Putrajaya Presint 18 (1), SJK(T) Persiaran Raja Muda Musa in Klang, and SJK(C) Hwa Lien in Pulau Ketam visited Multimedia University (MMU) for an academic visit aimed at introducing them to higher education and digital technology. The three schools are among the 35 schools nationwide under the TM Future Skills (TMFS) programme.
The visit was attended by Cik Nor Fadhilah Mohd Ali, TM Group Chief Corporate Officer, and Puan Ainol Shaharina Sahar, Director of YTM. During an engagement session, YTM shared insights into its educational initiatives and the learning experiences available at higher education institutions.
Following an introduction to the diverse academic opportunities at MMU, the students explored the worlds of technology and creativity through visits to the Faculty of AI and Engineering (FAIE) and the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCM). From witnessing robotics in action to exploring virtual studios, they experienced firsthand how engineering, technology and creative arts come together to drive future innovation.
The students also attended the launch ceremony for Telekom Malaysia’s 80th anniversary celebrations at Dewan Tun Canselor, MMU, where they had the opportunity to meet and interact with the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
The experience broadened their horizons, sparked curiosity and introduced them to new possibilities in education, technology and future careers.
