We are excited to launch another Yayasan TM initiatives - IMMERSIO 2023, an exciting art exhibition at the Muzium Telekom, Kuala Lumpur, which is running until 7 January 2024. This year's theme, “Waris (Inherited),” promises you an extraordinary experience through the heritage of Southeast Asia, combining tradition with innovative modern work of a diverse line of artists.

The official launch of IMMERSIO 2023 and the Digital Technology Incubator took place on December 18, 2023. It was officiated by Yayasan TM Director, Ainol Shaharina Sahar, who emphasized that the theme of IMMERSIO 2023 is in line with Yayasan TM's focus on empowering innovation while preserving art, culture and heritage. Also present was Abdul Shakir "Grasshopper," curator of IMMERSIO 2023 and Co-Founder of Filamen, Mrs. Zainariah Johari, CEO of MyCreative Ventures Group, as well as several artists involved such as Chong Yan Chuah, Izealist, Ureality Kai, Vasflow, Cerikapak, Suzy Sulaiman, James Ly and students from MMU and TheOneAcademy.

More than 20 new media artists and cultural experts collaborate to create a multi-sensory experience featuring digital artworks, interactive installations, traditional theatre arts and heritage music with a modern twist. The exhibition also transforms the museum into a lively space, offering a contemporary perspective on the essence of past eras, cultural identities, enduring traditions, shared values and personal stories.

In addition, throughout IMMERSIO 2023, the museum gallery hosts the Digital Technology Incubation Program by Yayasan TM, which aims to integrate creative expression and technological know-how to support local digital artists and creative practitioners by combining soundscapes, mixed reality performances, wayang kulit and other interesting performances.
