YTM, together with Yayasan Hasanah, SP Setia Foundation, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), joined forces through the GLC for the People and Nation (GDRN) initiative to support communities affected by the devastating fire in Kg. Bahagia and Kg. Karamunting, Sandakan, Sabah.

A total of 450 essential aid packages, comprising blankets, electric kettles, hygiene kits and cooking utensils, were handed over to the Sandakan District Disaster Management Committee, represented by Mr. Irman Tajuddin Edy, for immediate distribution to affected families.

The delegation also visited the affected areas to assess the situation on the ground and engage directly with residents to better understand their immediate needs. Also present was Mr. Sahrimin Bin Mohd Iman, General Manager of TM One Sabah.

It is our hope that this contribution will help ease the burden of affected families and provide meaningful support as they rebuild their lives and recover with resilience.
